Away Days: Aggborough Stadium

How many fans were at the ground?

650-700

And what was the atmosphere like amongst them?

It was good before the game but died off and was pretty dead once the game kicked off. It got lively when we scored the first goal, but died off again after HT.

What did you think of the ground?

It is conference style, I have seen worse like Macclesfield's Moss Rose but you can tell they were in the Conference a long time and have not done a lot with it since. There were not many police about of notice, or many stewards either. From what I did see of them they kept to themselves and everyone seemed happy. I had a hotdog which was massive and well worth the two quid.

Were the three points well deserved then?

Yeah ,once we changed the system and got some width we were always in control. It was too crowded in middle of park playing the 3-4-1-2, we had a dodgy spell and looked a bit nervy after they scored but once we soaked up there only real spell of pressure we took control again.

Beags got a lot of praise after the game, especially from our man in the press box, was this praise deserved?

He was our second best player on the day behind Kilford, but they didn't know how to handle him. They didn't know whether to man mark him or put two men on him, and that pulled their defence all over the place.

Do you think Kiddy will make the playoffs based on todays performance?

No, I think they'll just miss out. I have seen a lot better teams than them who will take the places. Oxford, Bury etc.
I think they finish around 9th or 10th, but they rely too heavily on Henriksen

Finally, are you confident now going into next weeks home game against struggling Macclesfield Town.

Yeah, am confident we should take three points easily. Even Hull beat them tonight so shows how bad they are, then again I was confident about is beating Exeter at home.
