How many fans were there tonight?

700 maybe, just over. Not much noise, we were a bit quiet except until their second goal went in.

Have to ask, what did you think of the performance?

Shit, and I blame Laws for it. No commitment and no passion. McCombe is the worst player ever to make it pro. No organisation and no idea Laws. 2-0 down and you could see it wasn't working, what does he do? Does he change it? NOOOOOOO, does he leave it and let it get worse and more humilating? YEEEEESS. Three nil down with 20 minutes left he changes it, four nil and ten minutes left he chances it more. He is clueless and blind! Maybe if Mark Lillis was around he would have been able to point out where we were going wrong. £15 to watch that - it wasn't even a competitive match. I have been conned!

Steve McLean made his first start, did he do anything to impress you?

Nope, he gave the ball away too cheaply too often. He looks good running at the defence but lacked support too often and it didn't help him being switched to right wing and back every ten minutes. Would like to see him fiven another go though.

What about Cliff Byrne at right-back?

Is this the same Cliff Byrne we had on loan? He looked the only player willing to bring the ball out of defence but still doesn't look the same player we had on loan. Would have prefered him in the centre with McCombe in the graveyard and Wayne Graves at right-back.

Had Laws picked that team do you think we'd have been able to match Mansfield then?

They weren't anything special, there was a lot of long ball by them. I don't think any team Laws put out, with the lack of commitment showed, would have got a result but maybe we'd have given them more of a game.

Finally, do you think the lads can put it behind them to get a result on Saturday?

Yeah, I think it could serve as the kick up the backside they needed. But they seriously need to buck up their ideas, Saturday is now suddenly a big game.
