Iron manager Brian Laws has said that the Premier League club concerned are prepared to let one of their young players come to Glanford Park for at least a month to give him some first team experience.

Laws currently has plenty of options up front, especially after signing Paul Dalglish from Blackpool this week, and may look to strengthen his defensive options.

Laws told the Scunthorpe Telegraph: "There is one young player I am looking at. The club concerned are even willing to pay his wages for us to have a look at him and for him to get a bit of experience."
