Travelling supporters were not happy with the performance and level of effort shown by the Iron during the defeat, losing to two Ian Clark strikes.

Beags, who many fans feel has had a disappointing run in to the season, became involved in an arguement with fans in the away terrace after the match. has now been lead to believe by a club source that Beags will issue an apology tomorrow via the club's official website.

The event bears similarity's to a 2-0 defeat at Rochdale in the 1997-98 season, where some fans were banned from Glanford Park after a heated exchange with Iron manager Brian Laws. welcome's Beagrie's anticipated statement, but after performances such as this some criticism of the players is to be expected.
