Boston keen on Balmer

Brian Laws is keen to bring the 33 year old defender back to Glanford Park but Boston United feel Balmer is the right man to help them climb away from the bottom of the third division table.

"He is suspended for our game against Swansea on Saturday, so after that we will try and get him here for another month or two, said Brian Laws today.

Balmer is currently in the process of negotiating a contract settlement with the Latics.
