Saturday's goalless draw at MK Dons followed on from an identical scoreline at Brentford last week.
While Brass felt the Iron enjoyed enough of the ball to have claimed all three points, he was happy to head back up the A1 with a point and without having conceded again.
"We’re delighted with a point and with a second successive clean sheet,” he said.
“It was disappointing we’ve not got a goal to show for our efforts, but at the times we did have possession you can see a little bit of confidence starting to come in.
“Now we need to take that into our home form. We’ve worked extremely hard defensively in order to keep clean sheets and give ourselves a platform to go on and win games.
"One or two things were said after the Leyton Orient game (a 3-2 home defeat a fortnight ago) and sometimes things need to be said.“
The players will get a chance to do exactly what Brass called for on Tuesday night when Huddersfield Town visit Glanford Park.
Karl Robinson, the MK Dons boss, paid tribute to the performance of the Iron.
"Scunthorpe are a good team. People look at their league position and think it should be a rollover at stadium:mk," he said.
“But they are a Championship team, with players who competed in the Championship last season.
"I’m not going to hide behind a point, but what you can say is the effort is there. It was a huff and puff sort of game, both sides cancelled out each other’s quality.
“We couldn’t get our three in the game, so I changed it at half-time. I felt we needed to go a little bit longer at times and that gave our midfield more time to play. We looked better in the second half.
“At least the players are giving everything. They are coming off the field tired and disappointed, even though for me a point was a fair result."
