The best side in the world, who are favourites to retain their crown in Germany this summer, needed two late goals to ensure the scoreline reflected the massive gap in the FIFA world rankings.

Real Madrid striker Ronaldo opened the scoring just before the break, with Adriano doubling their advantage shortly afterwards.

AC Milan's Kaka grabbed the third in the final stages, with Lyon's Juninho completing the scoring in second-half stoppage time.

Mulligan started the match, but was replaced by Scott Smith on the hour mark.
