Cash gain as Man City tie is televised

It is the first time United have been on terrestrial British television, with the game being shown on ITV1.

It is a repeat of the fourth round of the Carling Cup when city were 5-1 winners at Eastlands. The presence of TV cameras suggests the TV executives believe a different result could happen with Scunthorpe enjoying home advantage.

The game will kick off at 4pm on Sunday January 24, with the club making 7,400 tickets available for home supporters.
