Club denying OSC funds

When the OSC was launched before the start of last season a fee of £10 for a two year membership was agreed.

After talks with the football club it was decided that for this season everyone buying a season ticket or joining the controversial loyalty scheme would be automatically registered as a member - with the OSC receiving £2.50.

But not a single season ticket holder or loyalty scheme member has been enlisted as an OSC member because the club have yet to pass on details.

This is despite OSC committee members giving up their own time free of charge to help process record numbers of season ticket applications.

As a result the OSC are also being denied the £2.50 per person that the club is supposed to pass onto them. This is despite youth team coach Tony Daws writing a begging letter to the OSC for funds to help revitalise the club's school of excellence.

The OSC was also asked to donate £500 to help the youth team enter a tournament in Durham, the OSC agreed to hand over the cash.

But the tournament was cancelled, and despite several requests the money has not been handed back.
