Crosby should face Yeovil

Crosby was replaced by Cliff Byrne after 75 minutes of the FA Cup first round replay win over the Robins.

If Crosby fails a fitness test then Byrne is in pole position to replace him in the starting line-up, although Andy Butler is also an option for caretaker boss Nigel Adkins.

Robbie Foy is expected to continue on the left wing as Ian Morris continues his recovery from a knee injury.

It will be Adkins' fourth match in charge since being given temporary control of the side following Brian Laws and Russ Wilcox's departure to Sheffield Wednesday.

And after seeing his side keep clean sheets in all three games, he is aiming for a win at Huish Park.

"Some people might think that a draw away from home at Yeovil will not be a bad result, but we are looking at it in a more positive frame of mind, that we can actually take three points off Yeovil," he told the Scunthorpe Telegraph.

"Everyone looks at it that you have got to win your home games if you want to be up there, but if you can go and win away games as well then you give yourself a real opportunity."

Yeovil may hand a debut to striker Leon Best, who joined on loan from Championship side Southampton on Thursday.

The Glovers have three injury doubts ahead of the game, including captain Terry Skiverton who has an ankle problem.

Paul Terry, brother of England captain John, and Arron Davies are also doubts - although all three returned to training on Thursday.
