The highly rated left back told the Hull Daily Mail: "I was at Scunthorpe for four-and-a-half years. It wasn't really a wrench to leave because when you get the chance to come to a club like Hull it's not really a big decision.
"You've only got to look around the place to see the ambition everyone has got. I know it hasn't worked here before but with the players the gaffer has brought in - and the players already here - I'm sure we've got a strong enough squad to go up.
"That's definitely the aim. I think we can go all the way."
