He said: "Last Saturday's second-half performance at Colchester showed what we are capable of - we now need to start winning games.

"I have every confidence in Dave's ability to turn things around and get us back to winning ways.

"Obviously there been concern at our start to the season but as soon the players start gelling a little better I'm sure we will start to see an improvement in results."
