Doncaster born Evans will face a straight battle wih Glentoran goalie Elliott Morris for the number one jersey.
Former Iron assistant manager Mark Lillis was recently appointed coach for the Northern Ireland team, and he is thought to have reccomended Evans.
Hull City striker Stuart Elliott and Lincoln City defender Paul Morgan have also been included in the squad.
The match will be played at firhill Stadium in Glasgow, with a 7.30pm kick off.
