In a poll on Iron-Bru.net, United fans have backed Laws' decision to bring in striker Craig Dudley on loan.

With Martin Carruthers out injured Laws was desperately short of options up front - indeed Brian Quailey and Mark Anderson were the only fully fit strikers on the clubs books.

Hence Laws turning to second division Oldham Athletic to bring in Dudley on a months loan.

66.7% of voters backed Laws' decision to bring in a loanee, with just over 11% thinking that Laws should not even consider breaking up the Torps/Quailey partnership.

17% thought Quailey should partner Anderson, whilst 5% wanted to see Torps play alongside Anderson.
