Ginge leaves the club

Ginge, who is out of contract at the club, has rejected a month to month contract where he had to lose weight to stay on at the club.

It has been suggested to Iron-Bru.net that the contract was virtually unsignable.
“Gareth Sheldon has rejected a month to month which is fair enough, we've checked him out and we have not seen any improvement after the three weeks he has had. I think he wants to elsewhere and he might be doing the right thing," said Iron manager Brian Laws this afternoon.

“I don't foresee him being here next season. He has not lived up to expectations but if he wants to blame anybody he should look squarely in the mirror.

“I'm sure he will get another club but he has to lose the weight wherever he goes.”
