Ankle injury
Calvo-Garcia was stretchered off five minutes into last night's LDV Vans Trophy win over Shrewsbury Town after landing awkwardly on his ankle.

X-Rays at Scunthorpe General Hospital showed there is no break, although the club fear he has ligament damage.

The midfielder has recently re-established himself in the side but is a serious doubt for Friday's trip to Northampton.

Iron manager Brian Laws told the club's official website: "We will have to assess him to find out how things have gone but it means he is very doubtful for Friday's game.

"He was in a lot of pain and he could be out for quite some time if there is ligament damage."
