Goodwin misses Swansea game

Goodwin was replaced at the half-way stage of Saturday's loss at Bristol City with a head injury suffered in the opening minutes of the game.

The midfielder, who missed most of last season through injury, is also expected to miss Saturday's game against Crewe Alexandra.

Torpey was red carded 10 minutes from time, and will start a three-match ban if the appeal is not successful.

United's opponents Swansea also enter the game on the back of a loss, surprisingly losing 2-1 to Cheltenham at the Liberty Stadium.

Iron boss Brian Laws warned: "They'll be smarting from their result, which was definately a shock, but it just shows you can get results against all odds.

"Swansea will want to get back into winning ways, but so do we."
