Grimsby play down Brough link

As reported on Iron-Bru.net last week Brough's Barrow manager Lee Turnbull was under the impression that he had a contract on offer from the Blundell Park outfit.

Although Brough was on trial with Grimsby at the end of last season Groves has claimed he knows nothing of any deal.

He said: "I haven't spoken to him. He came at the end of last season and did some work with Paul Wilkinson along with a bunch of other lads and trialists."
