Back in training
Hayes picked up an injury during the 2-0 FA Cup win over Barnsley on Tuesday night, but has returned to training today and is likely to keep loanee striker Cleveland Taylor out of the team.

United had been faced with the prospect of playing reserve defender Jamie McCombe up front alongside Torpey, but now the club have the relative luxury of three fit forwards to choose from.

Middlesbrough defender Phil Gulliver, one of three loanees brought into the club on Wednesday, will come into the side against a team he played ten games for on loan earlier in the season.

He made the switch to Glanford Park after taking advice from Sam Russell, who was on loan from the North East club earlier in the season, and will play in centre defence - allowing Nathan Stanton to return to his favoured right-back position and meaning yhat Wayne Graves is added to Laws' midfield options.

Kevin Sharp will return at left-back after serving a two-match suspension.

United have played Bury twice already this season, winning both the games at Gigg Lane.

A brace from Torpey, and a Peter Beagrie strike, sealed a 3-2 league win in August while a `silver goal` from Paul Hayes gave United a 1-0 win in the LDV regional quarter-finals in December.
