In the last minute of normal time Richard Sneekes stuck out a leg to challenge Lee, but was no where near the ball and Hodgey went down.
The referee gave the foul, a decision Hodges has backed despite whinging from the home fans.
"We got a free-kick and it bounced back out and I took it away from Sneekes and he fouled me," he told BBC Radio Humberside.
"He just stuck his leg out and I fell over it. I'm not going to stand up when he's trying to trip me up."
