Holland will replace Wharton

Wharton made the announcement at a board meeting yesterday afternoon but will stay in charge until the Annual General Meeting which will take place in October.

Chris Holland, who has previously been chairman of Conference outfit Halifax Town, will replace him if elected by shareholders.

It will be proposed that Wharton becomes President of the club.
