Huddersfield boss rues missed opportunity

Jackson was disappointed that his side didn't rise to the occasion, but gave credit to United, who enjoyed a memorable night at the Galpharm Stadium.

He told Huddersfield Town's official site: "If Gary Taylor Fletcher had grabbed the goal after half time then possibly it would have been different, but who knows. When we pulled a goal back to 2-1 I still thought we could go on and get something from the game.

"Full credit to Scunthorpe because they gave us a good game and got a good result.

"They caught us on the break because we were pushing men forward and there was perhaps a it of lack of concentration at he back. We had two sucker-punches in the second half and that's what is disappointing."
