The match at Glanford Park had originally been scheduled for the previous Saturday, but both sides will take on Premiership opposition in the famous Cup competition.
The Iron will travel to face Manchester City, while Huddersfield must go to Stamford Bridge to take on Premiership champions Chelsea.
The match will kick-off at 7.45pm.
