United player coach Peter Beagrie is hoping to return for the game having missed the Iron's last two games with a thigh injury.

He will under go a late fitness test before tonight's game at the AggboroughStadium  as will the rest of United's walking wounded.

Nathan Stanton is another doubt although his injury is slightly more serious, having suffered a heavy injury to his foot during the Iron's 2-2 draw at home to Swansea on Saturday.

Matt Sparrow and captain Mark Jackson also picked up knocks on Saturday but Laws is hopeful both will make the game.

Manager Laws said: "These injuries could not have come at a worse time, but I am sure whoever we have to call on will do a job for us. They are all honest players".

Utility man Wayne Graves returns to the squad having served his one match ban on Saturday.
