After a week of speculation McGibbon finally completed the move from second division Wigan Athletic yesterday afternoon after proving his fitness following a hamstring injury and goes straight into the squad for this afternoon's trip to Kenilworth Road.

The former Manchester United player will partner Mark Jackson in the centre of defence.
