Givens' side had to come from behind to seal the win, the first leg of a European Championship.

Keogh's first goal was a header from an Aiden McGeady free-kick, with his late winner a superb drive inside the area after being put through.

Givens beamed: "Andy was excellent throughout the whole game and the goals were a just reward for his performance.

"Not only did he get the goals, but his overall contribution was superb, especially as he was effectively the only central frontman."

Givens' side will play the second leg of the tie next Thursday at Kilkenny's Buckley Park, two days after Keogh celebrates his 20th birthday.
