Slocombe, 23, has become the club's first-choice keeper, making 19 appearances since the end of October having spent the early part of the campaign providing backup to Josh Lillis then Sam Johnstone.
He signed a one-year deal last summer, with the club confirming on Monday morning they had taken up a clause to extend it by 12 months. They also confirmed talks were planned for a new contract.
