Iron handed extra tickets

Iron fans were originally allocated 1600 tickets for the game, a significantly lower amount than we were given for the league game there in September.

United Chief Executive Don Rowing protested to the Imps, and they agreed today to the increased allocation.

Tickets go on sale from tomorrow. Season ticket holders and fans who travelled to the Shrewsbury game can purchase a single ticket from 9.30AM. On Thursday they go on general sale.

The club is running official coaches, which leave from GP at 12.30 on Saturday. The coach will cost fans a fiver on top of their match ticket.

Lincoln City fans have been snapping up tickets for the match at a rate of 185 per hour, with 1300 tickets gone by three this afternoon.

Meanwhile the second leg at Glanford Park has been confirmed for the following Wednesday, meaning Sky TV will not be covering the match. The kick off has been brought forward to 7.30PM.

The match will be all-ticket for Iron fans, tickets will go on general sale later in the week although season ticket holders will have places reserved.
