The left-sided player featured as a guest for Limerick against United on Monday night, and impressed manager Brian Laws who has promptly given the former Doncaster and Kidderminster player a trial.
The player told the Scunthorpe Telegraph: "I was due to fly back to England yesterday for talks with Peterborough. However I cancelled the flight after Brian Laws asked me to play against Cobh on Wednesday.
"I have played against Scunthorpe United a few times and they are a top class club with excellent facilities and are obviously a side that are going places."
Laws added: "He was only guesting for Limerick and is a player who I feel is worth having a look at."
