Three year deal
Pen was put to paper this afternoon at Glanford Park, and was announced on the club's official website shortly after Norwich's bid for Dawson was made public on there.

Jackson was a free agent in the summer, meaning he could leave for nothing. The club have evidently learnt from the mistakes of Forrester and Eyre, and to an extent Ipoua, and will not lose star players for nothing.

"He has now confirmed his acceptance of a new three-year deal and we are delighted to have a player of his calibre at the club," said Laws.

"I'm hoping Mark will have the best three years of his career and develop into a great leader on the park."

Dawson has yet to sign a new contract, but if he decides to leave in the summer the club can still command a fee - with a tribunal called for if neccesary.
