Keogh started the season on loan at Glanford Park, scoring twice, and Iron boss Brian Laws asked him back to bolster the side's promotion challenge.

In his first spell at the club he played in 12 games, scoring twice. He also spent a month on loan at Bury, scoring twice - including one against Scunthorpe - in four starts.

The 18-year-old agreed terms last week, and completed the move on Monday following a medical.

He told the club's official website:"I didn't have any doubts about the move, I just wanted to discuss it with my family and confirm that I was making the right move.

"I'm delighted the deal has gone through, and I'm really looking forward to starting playing.

"I want to play my part in helping the team achieve promotion, and score as many goals as possible."

The Dublin-born youngster has signed a three-year deal, and has been included in the squad to face Wycombe on Tuesday night.

He has been given squad No.27.
