Laws continues midfielder hunt

Laws has targeted a central midfielder, and a loan deal could be completed ahead of this weekend's trip to fourth-placed Swansea.

Laws said: "We're still talking to one or two players and agents... if it's not this week hopefully it will be next week."

Ian Baraclough suffered an injury during Tuesday night's 4-3 loss at Yeovil, adding to the pressures on United's promotion seeking squad.

Laws felt that poor refereeing decisions, notably just beforeYeovil's third goal, cost United dear.

He added: We've walked away from the ground with nothing and that hurts...there's been some atrocious refereeing decisions last night, and we were bitterly disappointed.

"We were very bitterly disappointed to have a referee who couldn't handle a game with any kind of pressure on him, particularly the third goal."
