Laws: form counts for nothing

Rovers lie bottom of the table going into the M180 derby, while Scunthorpe are sitting pretty in joint second.

But, with just seven games played, Laws insists that the Yorkshire side are in a false League position - and that recent form goes out of the window in derby games anyway.

He warned: "Unfortunately the form book goes out of the window when it's a local derby, but hopefully we can pile a little more pressure on them.

"I still believe that they are in a false position. I don't believe for one minute that they are that bad.

"It's all about confidence, when you're winning its easy and when you're losing the confidence drains from your team - they might be looking at this game to try and kick start their season."
