Laws: "Get your tin hat on"

Laws has a full squad to pick from for tomorrow's game and doesn't anticipate making any changes from the team that won at Bury last Saturday.

It will be Matt Sparrow's last game before he begins a three match suspension and Laws hopes the young midfielder will go out on a high tomorrow.

Laws said: "Matthew will want to finish up on a high and I'm sure he will, but once he goes out the door someone else will come in and I know for sure who ever comes in to take his place will do a fantastic job anyway.

"One thing I've prepared the players for is the fact to get a tin hat on because I think the majoirity of the time we'll be doing a lot of heading, they've gone a bit route one and it's going be a case of we're going to have to deal with it.

"It's not going to be the first header anyway - it'll be the second ball that we will have to take care of and that's where we need to deal with it because that's been the only let down of the first two or three games.

"It's going to be very difficult, it'll be a real test for our strikers to get goals and it's going to be a real test for our defenders because Oxford have recruited some very big players. Infact I'd put them down as probably the biggest in the Football league and its going to be a real test at set plays so we've had to work really hard this week. Hopefully that'll bear fruit, because if we can keep a clean sheet against Oxford I fancy our chances very strongly."

Laws also admitted he's looking to get a new sub keeper in before tomorrow's game.

Sam Russell from Middlesborough is on trial at Glanford Park today and the United boss says if he feels he is up to standard he will be on the bench for tomorrow's game.
