A demoralised Iron side were outplayed by the Stags for all but small patches of tonight's game at Field Mill, and Laws didn't hold back.

He said: "One word that comes to mind is humiliating.

"There were that many poor decisions made tonight it would take all night to explain them, I'm very disappointed in them.

"I will take responsibility, it is my responisbility as manager tonight and I'm lost for words. I didn't know where to start.

"They have got to respond on Saturday. I feel sorry for the supporters who paid good money to come and watch that.

"The performances prior to this game have been exceptional, tonight we have not turned up and Mansfield took advantage - we have hit a side who were red hot tonight.

"Had they scored nine I would not have argued with it. They were very, very good but we were very poor."
