Laws misses out on loan signing

With the transfer window closing for seven days on Wednesday evening, Laws was hoping to bring some loan cover in before Friday's game with Huddersfield but he is adamant he won't be rushed into making a panic signing.

Laws told United's official site: "The players that I want are not available.

"The one that I did want got injured on Friday so I can't take him. The only other offers I have had are for kids and I'm not in a position to risk somebody else's kids."
