Laws out for Doncaster scalp

When the two teams met four months ago at Belle Vue the Iron were second in League One whilst Rovers sat in 23rd place, however goals from Leo Fortune-West, Michael McIndoe and Jonathan Forte handed Dave Penney's side a morale-boosting win over United.

Both sides are now in mid-table with Rovers sitting in 14th place and the Iron in 18th position.

This time Scunthorpe boss Brian Laws wants his side to take the three points and start to push back up the League One table.

"It's a local derby with one of our fiercest rivals and we want to turn things round," he told PA Sport.

"We've slipped down the table when our performances haven't really warranted it.

"We under-achieved badly at their place earlier this season and virtually gave them the points.

"We'd like to turn back the clock if we could, but hopefully we can put it right on Saturday."
