The winger signed for Pools after being released by Middlesbrough this summer, with the Hartlepool Mail claiming the Iron – as well as Doncaster, Bournemouth and Yeovil – had made offers to the 22-year-old.
"I felt wanted here and that is the main reason why I signed," he told the Mail.
“There were a few clubs in for me but the manager here made me feel so welcome and so did all of the staff really – they sold the club to me."
