And now he hopes to have earned himself a spot in the first XI for the trip to North Lincolnshire.
He said: "I like to think I did enough to earn myself a place in the team for the game at Scunthorpe.
"I thoroughly enjoyed myself coming on for the second half at Brentford. I'm really happy here, the lads have made me very welcome so it has been easy to settle in."
