Rookie striker Parton has finished up as United's top scorer in pre-season, bagging three goals, as he attempts to press forward his claims for a first team place.
The result means United's first team haven't lost since late March when they faced Lincoln at Sincil Bank, and provides boss Brian Laws with a boost as he gets his troops ready for the daunting season opener at Brentford on Saturday.
