Sharp 'impressed' by Canaries

The 21-year-old held talks with City on Wednesday after being given permission to talk to them by Scunthorpe.

"He was impressed by the club and we had talks, at the moment that is where it's at," his agent Imre Varadi told the Eastern Daily Press.

"Billy was given the grand tour, I don't really want to say much more."

Last season's top scorer in League One is one of the hottest properties in English football, with a host of Championship clubs bidding for his services.

As it stands Norwich are the only side to match United's asking price of £2million plus add-ons.

Wolves and Sheffield Wednesday have both had two bids rejected, while Preston and West Brom are also monitoring the situation.
