Striker pleased to be back in side

"It feels great to be back," said Gandhi after today's goaless draw with Leyton Orient, "obviously I'm back sooner than I thought so that's a good bonus.

"I feel fit, I feel sharp, so it's just a case of getting chances and scoring which builds confidence and getting as many as I can before the end of the season."

Iron manager Brian Laws also feels that the return of Carruthers could prove vital for playoff success this season.

"He gives us loads of energy up front and it tends to get us going a little bit quicker," said Laws

"He's got a little bit match fitter and shaper, he lasted 60 minutes of the game and that's pleasing for me."
