The season is now underway for every side ran in connection with Scunthorpe United, with the reserves the latest to start with a 3-0 victory over Grimsby Town reserves on Wednesday night.

The Juniors season began last week, with an away trip to York City bringing a 2-0 victory, and they will be hosting Lincoln City Juniors tomorrow morning.

The match kicks off at 11.00 on the main pitch at Quibell Park. Although there will already be an Iron side in action there when they arrive.

Kicking off an hour earlier, the Iron Filings Official Supporters Side will be meeting the Yorkie Bars - you guessed it, York City's supporters side.

The two sides have played out regular encounters over the past three seasons, and although the Filings have won each match without exception tomorrow looks set to be an exciting clash.

The Filings began their season two weeks ago, registering a 4-1 victory agaisnt Notts County supporters before racing back to catch the Wrexham game at Glanford Park. The Bars' however began with an emphatic 14-3 triumph oer Torquay supporters.

Whatever the result tomorrow, the match promises lots of goals.

Filings manager Mark Bodie is sticking to a `no train, no game` policy to encourage those who can attend Filings training sessions to do so - and there will only be a small squad for him to choose from.

The squad he has named is: Mark Bodie, Matt Brewer, Nigel Dexter, Jo Dixon, Ant Hawes, Jonni Hodge, Paul Johnson, Andrew Leckey, Chris Parkinson, Ryan Parkinson, Dave Preston, Alex Summerfield, Luke Thornhill.

The Iron Filings compete in the TFG Sports League, you can check out more on the side on their official website.

Finally, if you need to ask who the third SUFC side in action is - then we think you're on the wrong site!
