Torpey signs for another year

The club has confirmed the striker is staying at Glanford Park and the new deal sees United retain the option of a further year.

Iron-Bru.net revealed back in April that the striker wouldl sign a new deal.

The 34-year-old forward has scored 73 goals in 193 games for the Iron, and is set to have a new strike partner next season following Paul Hayes' departure.

He joins Adam Capp in penning a new deal at the club.
