Torps will miss Boston match

Torps' thigh strain has still not cleared up sufficiently, and he will again sit out. It remains unclear whether he will be fit to return next week when the Mudrats come over to Glanford Park.

Wayne Graves is also a doubt with a dead leg, but Nathan Stanton will return from suspension. Jamie McCombe is likley to drop out of the starting lineup to accomodate him, with Byrne and Jackson together in the centre of defence.

Iron manager Brian Laws has hinted that Paul Hayes may be played up front alongside Martin Carruthers, but he also said that last week and left him on the bench.

Peter Beagrie is also nearing full fitness, and may be used if Graves is unable to play leaving a gap in midfield.

There will be a fleet of familiar faces in the Boston Uniited squad, including Stuart Balmer who was on loan with us earlier in the season.

Ben Chapman is also likley to feature, Chapman of course is the man who ended Peter Morrison's career with an horrific challenge during a reserve match. Chapman was a player with Grimsby Town at the time.
