Trio return for Shrimpers clash

Back from injury
The three all return from injury, with Kilford and Graves both in contention for a place in the starting XI.

McCombe may have to settle for a place on the substitutes bench though, with the central defensive combination of Mark Jackson and Clifford Byrne yet to concede a goal.

Iron manager Brian Laws says that he will introduce a couple of fresh legs for the game, with the side still to travel to York City on New Years Day and host Leeds United on Jan 04th.

This could mean impressive midfielder Matthew Sparrow is rested, but Laws has plenty of options with no new injury concerns following the Boxing Day draw with Rushden And Diamonds.

Centre-forward Martin Carruthers will continue his partnership with Steve Torpey, and will be looking to continue his remarkable ability of scoring against his former clubs - we signed him from Southend on deadlline day in the 00/01 season.
