Elsewhere Iron manager Brian Laws will name an unchanged clash for the LDV Vans Trophy Second Round game at the Kingston Communications Stadium.

Midfielder Richard Kell comes back into conetention after serving a three match ban, but with Ian Kilford and Terry Barwick in good form he is likely to have to settle for a place on the subs bench.

Hull manager Peter Taylor has been tipped to play a `reserve` team for tonight's match, but it is still set to be a tense local derby.

However he says that a number of first-team regulars will play to prove themselves after a poor display at the weekend against struggling Macclesfield.

Justin Whittle is likley to partner former Iron loanee Greg Strong, while former Iron striker Jamie Forrester will sit out with an ankle injury.

Alan Fettis is likely to replace Paul Musselwhite between the sticks for the Tigers.

Brian Laws has indicated that he would welcome progression into the later stages of the competition.

He said: "Obviously the league is our priority, but this competition is one that we also take seriously. There is money to be made from it in the late stages.

"It is a game I am looking forward to. Confidence in the camp is high after Saturday's excellent home win and we want to continue our unbeaten run which now stretches over five games."
