Boyes, who has attracted interest from Manchester United, Middlesborough and Tottenham is all set to leave the Minstermen after York chairman Jason Mc'Gill concluded a deal expected to be in the region of £80,000.
York City boss Martin Foyle said: “I don’t want to name the club because deals can always fall through, but this one looks like it will go ahead. It’s just a matter of dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s.
