Yet another broken leg

Cotts won a 50/50 challenge, which the Imps player Scott Willis got to late cracking a bone in the youngster's leg. Willis had already been booked for a highly dangerous lunge on Peter Beagrie.

An X-Ray yesterday confirmed the news, although the break is clean (think more along the lines of Gareth Sheldon's break than Nigel Pepper's).

His leg has been placed in plaster, and he will be out for at least two months.

"It's not a bad break but it's an injury which is devastating for the lad," explained manager Brian Laws today.

"He's worked so hard to try and establish himself in the first team and he has been doing well for us."

Laws went on to blast `comments I heard coming from the Lincoln bench`, judging by the reaction of most of the neanderthal home fans who jeered Cotts when he was unable to stand up I guess he has a point.
