Beckett suffers pre-season injury

The summer signing suffered suspected medial knee ligament damage playing in the Isle of Man tournament final loss to Football League new-boys Carlisle United.

He was carried off in the second-half of the game, which the Cumbrians had won than to a free-kick from Adam Murray after 27 minutes.

In the competition's third place play-off, Port Vale beat the Isle of Man side 4-0.
